Myrtle Lucille McCormick

Myrtle Lucille McCormick, age 91, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 peacefully at home. Her life has been a long journey since her birth on September 17, 1933 to parents Irving Huff and Lula Velma (Porter) Huff.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, A.L. McCormick; brothers, Irving Huff, Jr., Willard, Jewel, Jerry, Billy, John, and Jack Huff; sisters, Mary Cole and Daisy Bourne.

She is survived by her five children, Michael (Angie) McCormick, Linda (Fred) Wallace, Joyce Stacy, Vivian Godfrey, Penny Lester; siblings, Bobby Huff, Debbie Oliver; grandchildren, Tommy Dennie, Shane Davenport, Sabrina Duke, Courtney Williamson, Clinton Dewese, Robert Lester, Seth McCormick, Regina Hurst, and several great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and McReynolds-Nave & Larson for the care the family received during her final days.

Celebration of Life will be held 12 noon on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
