Myrtle Gillespie

Myrtle Ruth Gillespie was born in Clayton, AL on October 14, 1920 and departed this life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the age of 89 years. A private service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Myrtle was the daughter of Sam and Jeff (Adams) Lynn. She was a resident of Chandler, Oklahoma for the past two months, moving from Clarksville, TN. She was of Baptist Faith and was a Homemaker. She married Charles B. Gillespie in Ft. Benning, GA on June 23, 1947. He preceded her in death in April of 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include one Daughter: Betty Bradley of Stroud, Oklahoma and numerous grandchildren and great Grandchildren along with other relatives and friends.
