Myrtle Mai Coleman, age 92, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2018. She passed while at her home in Clarksville with her loving family at her side.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bishop Windell Moore, Bishop Michael Burton and Bishop Billy Buchanan officiating. She will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Myrtle's family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 12 p.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Myrtle entered into this life on August 30, 1925 in Montgomery County to the late Mitchell and Ether Lyle Norman. She was retired from B.F. Goodrich and in the past had also enjoyed serving as a Foster Grandparent. Myrtle was a beloved member of the Clarksville Church of God of Prophecy, having enjoyed worship there for 78 years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Coleman; son, Gary Coleman; brothers, Leslie Lyle, Alfred Dennis Norman, M.L. Norman, Louis “Sonny” Norman, Howard E. Norman; sister, Mary M. Denton, Lottie Nell Frey; nieces, Patricia Lyle, Connie Rushing; nephews, Terry Lyle, Michael Denton.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Coleman; sister, Dorothy Murray; sister-in-law, Mynabelle Lyle; grandson, Scott Coleman; granddaughter, Mandi Coleman; great grandson, Clay Coleman; six nephews and 10 nieces.
Pallbearers will be Eric Buchanan, Ricky Denton, Ronnie Denton, Trent Denton, David Frey, James Frey, Brian Hathcock. Honorary Pallbearers will be Grayland Abbott, Tommy Moore, Marvin Phibbs, Lynn Rittenberry, Mike Rittenberry, Kyle Shock, Thomas Shock, James Williams Jr., and Steve Lyle.
