MSG (Ret) Jack D. Roberts, age 77, Clarksville, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Harwell officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Full military honors will be rendered.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Jack was born November 1, 1935 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, son of the late Marion Allen Roberts and Odie Pearce Roberts. He was retired from a prestigious 24 year career with the U.S. Army, having attained the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a Vietnam veteran and a member of the church family at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sayoko Tira Roberts of Clarksville.
