MSG (Ret) Antonio Marie, Jr., was born on 29 April, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Monday, February 15, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Estep officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Marie and Emma Sanchez Marie, 3 brothers, 1 grandson, and 1 great granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Marie, son Antonio Marie III, daughters Belinda (Anthony) Finamore, Denise (Brad) Pendley, Denise Frederick (Fred Anschuetz), Cindi (Darrell) Smith, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 5 sisters, 1 brother, many nieces and nephews, and his spoiled dog, Minnie.
Tony was a proud member of the United States Army. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving there with the 25th Infantry Division. He retired from active duty in January 1990, after 30 years of service to our country.
His passion was working on his antique cars and trucks, and he was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He was a very giving husband, Dad, Papa and friend, and will be missed by many.
On 8 February, 2016, while looking into the eyes of his wife and holding her hand, he stepped in to the arms of Jesus.
