MSG John Joseph Casey (Ret)
John Joseph Casey, 74, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial with full military honors will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. and from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel.
Mr. Casey was born April 8, 1942 Harlem, NY and was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Delia Durcan Casey; and his wife, Irmtrud (Judy) Casey.
He was a retired MSG with the U.S. Army Veteran and served in Viet Nam and Desert Storm, member of VFW Post 11160, a Catholic, and attended APSU.
Survivors include his daughters Michelle (Chris) Smith, Judy (Chris) Froeba; sister, Sr. Mary Casey; grandchildren, Casey (Dakota) Bulmer, Johnathan David "JD" Smith and Christopher Froeba Jr.; great-grandchild, Layken Bulmer.
