MSG A. Beshear

MSG A. Kent Beshear (Ret), 67, Clarksville, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Spring Meadows Health Care Center.
A celebration of his life will be 12 Noon, Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Harriett Harris officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, with full military honors.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 12 noon, Tuesday at the funeral home.
He was born September 4, 1944 in Princeton, KY and was the son of the late Arvil and Ouida Bell Beshear.
Mr. Beshear retired from the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was a life long member of VFW Hopkinsville; as well as a member of American Legion Oak Grove and the NRA. His family and grandchildren were the love of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Webb Beshear, Palmyra; children, Brad D. Beshear, Chattanooga, Kelly (Steve) Dixon, Nashville, Patricia A. Gee, Alice, TX, James (Kristie) Vertrees Jr., Clarksville, Jack (Kathy) Vertrees, Dover, Julie (Davis) Miller, Clarksville; sister, Linda Gentry, Dawson Springs, KY; and fifteen grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Program, 200 Stovall Street, Suite 7N57 Alexandria, VA 22332-5000.
