Mitchell Brown

SFC (Ret.) Mitchell Lafette Brown, age 76, passed away March 14, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare.
A Memorial service with full US Army Honors will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2020 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Mitchell entered this life on May 10, 1943 in Decatur, AL. He served in the US Navy for a brief while before enlisting in the US Army. He went on to retire as a Sergeant First Class and then went on to work in food service at the former Clarksville Memorial Hospital. Mitchell was an avid golfer and gambler and loved to watch game shows in his spare time. He also enjoyed cars, especially antiques.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Brown and sister, Loretta.
He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Brown; children by marriage, Michael David (Anne) Baldwin, Christopher Lee Baldwin, and Jerimiah Temple; sisters, Mattie and Barbara; grandchildren, Destiny (Kenny) Green, Emory Baldwin, and Ella Baldwin; and great-grandchild, Chanley Green.
