Milford Harland Smith, Jr., age 87, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021.
Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Faith Building, First Baptist Church of Clarksville. The Smith family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the hour of the service at the church.
Milford was born into this life on December 21, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Milford H. Smith, Sr. and Arlene East Smith. He had a successful career in the real estate business and early on worked for 14 years in Denver, Colorado before making Clarksville his home. He then worked locally as a real estate appraiser for nearly 30 years. He was an active member of the Clarksville Kiwanis Club and also had been a member of the Sertoma Club in Denver. Milford also enjoyed fellowship and worship at First Baptist Church of Clarksville where he was a member. He was also a Board Member at the HOPE Pregnancy Center. Milford loved to golf, camp, and photography in his spare time.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Milford (Trey) Smith III and his sister, Delores Smith. Survivors include his wife, Paula Smith, daughter, Perri Smith, and grandchildren, Zander Sapia and Timothy Price. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
