Mildred Young

Mildred Young, age 83, of Fayetteville, GA, passed away September 29, 2013 at her new home in Erin, TN. Mrs. Young was born on December 1, 1929 in Thamston, GA. She was the daughter of Charles and Mary Smith. Mrs. Young was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, GA. She loved sewing, reading, and cake decorating. She also wrote poetry. Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years, Mr. Robert Young, and her son Jimmy.
Mrs. Young is survived by her three children, Robert, Jane, and Clay, her daughter-in-law Vikki, and her sister Gaynell. Her grandchildren, Connie, Tony, Mellissia, Candy, Bambi, Lisa, Angel, Holly, and twenty-eight great children.
Funeral Services are to be held at Nave Funeral Home in Erin, TN on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Erin, TN. Open viewing will be held at Nave Funeral Home on Monday, September 30, 2013, from 4-8 p.m. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
