Mildred Stanfill Waynick, 86, Clarksville, died Saturday, August 30, 2008, at Alive Hospice. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. Steve Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. She was born July 21, 1922 in Montgomery Co., TN, daughter of Holiday Stanfill and Gustie Atkins Stanfill. Mrs. Waynick retired from Jay Garment and was a member of Hilldale Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Waynick, daughter Rushie Collier, son Roger Waynick, and brothers J.W. Stanfill and Robert Stanfill. Survivors include a son, Jackie Waynick of Clarksville; daughters Rachel Rushing of Clarksville, Jone McGovern of Clarksville, and Janet Petrovich of Seattle, WA; brother Frank Stanfill of Clarksville; sister Della Vanscoy of Smyrna; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Teddy McGovern, John Alberstadt, Grant Alberstadt, Gary Perry, Larry Petrovich, and Charles Rushing. Memorial contributions may be made to Hilldale Church of Christ or Alive Hospice.
