Mildred Sleigh

Mildred Jackson Sleigh, 77, Clarksville, passed peacefully Saturday, November 6, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 725 S. Liberty Church Rd., Clarksville, with the Revs. Tim Ferrell and Ron Burgess officiating. Burial will be in the Church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the Church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Sleigh was born in Montgomery County, TN, on June 22, 1933, daughter of the late Claude W. and Idell Wall Jackson. She was preceded in death by her brother Charles A. Jackson. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William Maurice Sleigh of Clarksville; son Eric W. Sleigh of San Francisco, CA; daughter Bridget (Dennis) S. Hupp of Dallas, TX; step-granddaughter Mackenzie A. Hupp of Cleveland, OH; sister Ruth Halliday of Clarksville. Pallbearers will be Shannon Ferrell, Steve Ferrell, Dustin Jackson, John David Jackson, Larry Meek, and Trevor Reynolds.
