Mildred Mehigan

Mildred Clarice Hargrove Mehigan, 73, Clarksville, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Skip Armistead officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born October 20, 1936 in Illinois, daughter of Almont Hargrove and Clara Walton Hargrove. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cornelius Mehigan, Jr.; brother Almont Hargrove, Jr.; and sisters Mary Lou Dickerson, Dorothy Bryant, and Effie Hackney. Mrs. Mehigan was a member of Hilldale United Methodist Church and was retired from CDE. She is survived by her son Terry Mehigan of St. Joseph, Michigan; daughters Debbie Mehigan of Clarksville and Mary (Greg) Looney of Adams; and grandchildren Carter and Maggie Looney. Pallbearers will be Jerry Hackney, Chad Bryant, Ben Major, David Barbee, Troyce Hogan, and Ralph Phillips.
