Mildred Mathes

Mildred Almeda Mathes, age 96, of Clarksville, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, January 10, 2022, and again from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mildred entered into this life on November 20, 1925, in Montgomery County, TN, to the late Frank and Grace Naylor Bromley. Mildred was a member of First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Mathes; son, John Mark Mathes; sisters, Edna Earl Underwood and Marion Terrell.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Sheeks; grandchildren, Misty Puzon, Michael Sisk, Jodie Mickle; great-grandchildren, Carrie Puzon, Nikki Puzon, Michael Sheeks, Dusti Mickle, Brooklyn Sisk, Jasey Ussery; great-great-grandchildren, Connor Rausch, Finn Puzon, Lyla Wyatt.

Pallbearers will be Michael Sisk, Billy Lange, Mike Welborn, Josh Dillard, Michael Sheeks, Connor Rausch.
