James Michael "Mike" Wallace, 65, Clarksville, died Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Tom Dowdy & Rev. Howell Redding officiating. Burial will be in Sango Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. He was born October 10, 1942 in Clarksville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents James Mahlon Wallace and Ernestine Foster Wallace; brother, David Wallace; and his sister, Shirley Richardson. Mr. Wallace was a Methodist, owner of Wallace T.V. Shop for 20 years, a U.S. Navy Veteran and a man who loved to fish. Survivors include his wife, Aline Turner Wallace, Clarksville; sons, Allen Cross, Dallas, TX, Olan Wallace, Crockett, TX, James Vasquez Wallace, Clarksville; daughters, Elaine Ellison, Darline Hutchison, Jeanine Vasquez, Cassie Daniels, all of Clarksville; sisters, Dorothy Cravath Reagan, Martha Nell (Raymond) Pitts, and Janet (Tom) Dowdy, all of Clarksville; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Dennis Pitts, Mike Hutchison, Phillip Cravath, Darrell Cravath, Daniel Pitts, James Vasquez Wallace, David Pitts and Jimmy Richardson. Honorary pallbeaers will be Doc Richardson, Bun Wilson, Benny Hogan, L.C. Hogan and Raymond Pitts. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 37105-1942.
