Mike Gray

Mike Gray, age 63, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his son, Michael, and special friend, Melissa Taylor.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Friday, June 18, 2021 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens and Mayor Jim Durrett officiating. Mike's family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. In memory of Mike's fondness for hunting and the outdoors, attendees are encouraged to wear camouflage.
Mike entered into this life on January 26, 1958 in Cadiz, KY to parents Russell and Shirley Bumpus Gray, He was retired from a 34-year career with Clarksville Gas & Water where he worked as a Manager in the Waste Water Division. Mike was also an avid sportsman, accomplished outdoorsman, a huge UT Vols fan, and past President of Clarksville Jr. Pro Football, a position he served in for 21 years. Additionally, he will be remembered as a loving father and was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children, Michael Lee Gray (Tiffany) and Jackie Graves; and his grandchildren, Jett Gray, Kayce Gray, Jamaya Graves, Micha Graves, and Aleigh Graves.
Serving as pallbearers are Jim Durrett, Jay Harris, James Myers, Mike Luffman, Scott Bibb, Danny "Rooster" Deffendoll, Billy Gray, and Michael Griffy. Also, the Dover Bottom Boys will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
