Michael Kots, 31, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on June 1, 2018 in Nashville, TN.

Mike was born in Kankakee, IL to Karen Kots on November 25, 1986. He went to school in Durango, CO. He married Annie Ozaksut on December 5, 2013 in Clarksville, TN. He is a proud graduate of the University of New Mexico and received his commission through the UNM Army ROTC program. He is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and a Bronze Star recipient. He was involved in Civil War reenactment with the 1st NM Volunteers and was an avid golfer and lover of the outdoors. He never shied away from hard-work-work, and sought beauty, adventure, and service in his daily life. He will be remembered and loved dearly until death by those whose hearts he touched.


A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m., Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Greenwood Cemetery. Reception will follow at The Tanglewood House located at 1601 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN 37043.
