Michael Herndon

Michael D. Herndon, 50, Clarksville, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Delbert Homol officiating. Burial will be in Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. He was born September 16, 1958 in Ft. Campbell, Ky and was the son of Franklin D. and Mildred J. Tomlin Hernddon. Mr. Herndon was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. Other than his parents of Miramah Beach, FL, he is survived by his sons, Michael Herndon, Jacob Herndon, Bowling Green, KY; daughters, Christy Velez, CA, Jessica Pettigrew, Brandon, Miss., Danielle Herndon, Smyrna; brothers, Steve Herndon, Denver, CO, Gary Herndon, Clarksville; sisters, Scarlett Carter, Clarksville, Susan Leavell, Clarksville, Janet Loverchio, Utah; and two grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
