Michael Boggs

Michael Eugene Boggs, 42, Erin, died Wednesday, June 17, 2008 in Erin. The funeral will be held at 1 pm Friday at Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Terry officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 am until 8 pm Thursday and from 8 am until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. He was born April 23, 1966 in Montgomery County, TN son of Paul and Gilldean Sigels Boggs. He was a member of Griffins Chapel Church and active in the Houston County Recreation Club and Dixie Youth Softball. In addition to his parents of Erin, he is survived by "his three girls", wife Susan Foster Boggs and daughters Kaitlyn Boggs and Breanna Boggs, all of Erin, uncle and aunt Pat and Bailey Mullins, and numerous beloved friends and family members. Pallbearers will be Joey Clark, Johnny Clark, Greg McClain, Jonathan Mitchell, Danny Leslie, Chris Mathis, Chris McClain and Taylor McClain. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Melton, Craig Howell, Terry Jones, Derrick Hamilton, Ricky Kirkland, Dwight Dew, Billy Hughes, Clay Deason, Shannon Parker and Reggie Spurgeon. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to his childrens college education c/o Traditions Bank or to the Houston County Recreation Club.
