Michael Beard

Michael “Mike” Beard, age 67 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at his residence.
A graveside service with military honors will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Bro. James Boren officiating.
Mike entered this life on May 7, 1951 in Erin, TN, son to the late Travis and Eunice Beard. Mike proudly served four years in the United States Navy and later retired from the Cumberland City TVA Fossil Plant. Mike was a faithful member of the Stewart Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Naomi Kurkyendall; brothers, Elbert, Paul, and Oliver Beard.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Beard; his three sons, Jason (Amber) Beard, Jodey (Malissa) Beard, Jacob (Tiffiani) Beard; brothers, Donald Beard, Terry Beard; sisters, Margaret Rye, Golda Smith, and Eugenia Castleberrry. Mike also leaves behind nine granddaughters, and one grandson.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
