Mercedes Atwood

Mercedes Naranjo Atwood, 81, Erin, died Monday, September 22, 2008, at her residence. The remains are to be cremated. No services are planned. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born December 30, 1926 in Cuba and was the widow of Max Eugene Atwood. Mrs. Atwood was a homemaker and a Christian. Survivors include her sons, Henry (Pamela) Atwood, Wayne (Carolyn) Atwood, and David (Sally) Atwood, all of Clarksville; daughters, Julie (Dwight) Knepper, Elyria, OH, Donna (James) Hoak, Stewart, TN; sister, Gloria, Cuba; and lifelong friend Vilma Labean; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
