Melvin Adkins

Melvin Eugene Adkins, age 90 of Erin, TN, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.
The Adkins family will receive friends on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Melvin entered this life on January 14, 1929 in Walton, VA, son to the late Dewey and Lydia Adkins. Melvin proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a steel mill worker.
Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Dorothy Adkins; sons, Michael Adkins, Shawn Adkins; daughters, Linda McDonough, Yvonne Sigmon, and Renne Becker. Melvin also leaves behind nine grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
