Melissa Dawson

Melissa Kaye Dawson, age 62 of Clarksville, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022.

Celebration of life will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 2 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Dorsey officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 17th, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday, January 18th, 11a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Melissa entered this life on August 17, 1959, in Clarksville, TN to the late Lonnie D. and Bonnie Lewis Tate. She attended Trenton Assembly of God. She was a very loving and kindhearted person; Melissa loved her family and friends, she was proud of them all.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Connor Strobridge.

Survivors include her loving husband, Bruce Dawson; son, Aaron Wheeland (Keri); daughters April Jenkins (Travis), Ashley Dawson, Nikki Dawson; brother, Larry Tate (Brenda); sisters, Sandra Harrison (Mark), Karen Kula (Stacey Duke); grandchildren, Kaeley, Aleigha, Kinsley, Garret, Harleigh, Mady and, Makayla and her beloved dog Max.

Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
