Melissa Bush

Melissa Kay Bush age 63, of Stewart, TN, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Bush Cemetery.
The Bush family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday afternoon.
Melissa entered this life on May 16, 1956 in Houston County, TN, daughter to the late Thomas and Mary Ann Boone. Melissa passionately cared for her residents at Signature Healthcare of Erin for over 42 years where her love for life and community showed each and every day. Melissa was a loving mother, wife, sister, and grandmother to her family and she will greatly be missed.
In addition to her parents, Melissa was preceded in death by her grandparents, James “Hub” and Pauline Lavinia Boone, and brother, Roger Edward Boone.
Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Wrenn Taylor Bush; daughters, Jennifer Wrenn Bush, Jessica Kay (Jed) Hudson, Joely Ann (Lynn) Smith; siblings, Shelia Ann Dennis, Karon Lynn Vanzant, Steven Patrick Boone, Gerald Ray Boone, and Christopher James Boone. Melissa also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five step grandchildren, nine step great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Zachary Dennis, Little George Dennis, Big George Dennis, Nick Bush, Jed Hudson, and Little Gerald Boone.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Smith, Lynn Smith, John Dennis, and Andy Ross.
