Melba Rosalie Adams, age 89, Woodlawn, departed this life on Monday, October 14, 2013 at Grace Heath Care. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Melba entered into this life on July 17, 1924 in Evansville, IN, daughter to Benjamin and Anna Rhodes Humphrey. She was a member of Community Church. Melba was preceded in death by her husband, Retired Evansville, IN Police Sgt. Joseph W. Adams. She is survived by her sons, Clarence H. Eggers, and Jerry E. (Judy) Eggers; daughters, Bonnie Sorrick and Linda M. (Richard) Richnofsky; 5 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
