Medford Kahl

Medford `Butch` Allen Kahl, 67, Cunningham, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will be in McWhorter Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. He was born June 24, 1942 in Davidson County, TN and was preceded in death by his parents, Medford and Genevive Pennington Kahl, and his brother, Ricky Kahl. Mr. Kahl was a retired truck driver for TDOT and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Conatser Kahl, Cunningham; sons, Shannon Kahl, California, Clint Kahl, Arizona, Bobby Black and Mary Ann, Cunningham; daughters, Amanda Kahl Soanez, Arizona, Connie Crawford and David, Southside, Pamela Biggs, Cunningham; brothers, Robert "Bob" Kahl, Palmdale, CA; sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bobby Black, Larry Conatser, Gary Conatser, Glenn Conatser, Tony Pentecost, Travis Pentecost, Bo Cheek and David Trotter Jr.
