Maybell Childs

Mrs.Maybell Childs, 91, Tn.Ridge, died Saturday, Feb.2,2008, at Erin Care & Hehab.. The funeral will be held at 2pm Tuesday at Erin United Methodist Church with Bro.Kenneth Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Hagler Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5pm till 8pm Monday and from 8am till service time Tuesday at Nave Funeral Home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born August 23,1916 in Fauntain Hills,Ark.daughter of the late James and Sara Elton.She was preceded by her husband Ernest Childs, two brothers Hollis Elton,and JT Elton and two sisters Emma Rice and Joyce Williams. She was a member of Airport Blvd.Baptist Church.She was a homemaker and nurse aid. Survivors include two sons Chuck Childs of Tn.Ridge,Tn. and Jimmy Childs of Alaska two granddaughters Kathie Baggett and Kendra Childs. Pallbearers will be Tracy Reeder, Mitchell Smithey, Tim Cleghern, Greg Alsobrooks, Melvin Self, Randell French.
