May Middleton

May Meddley Middleton, 89, Clarksville, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at Grace Health Care. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Chapel. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. The remains are to be cremated. She was born December 6, 1919 in Pikeville, TN and was preceded in death by her parents, James Walter and Ruth Arnett Meddley; and two husbands, Goerge H. Tincher and John Lee Middleton. Mrs. Middleton was a former desk clerk for Holiday Inn, a member of the First Church of God, Life member of Women of the First Church of God. She is survived by her daughter, Georgiana Hartsock, Clarksville; granddaughters, Jacque (Ron) Camp, Clarksville, Vickie Cheek, Bea (Cindy) Hartsock, both of IL, Nita (Sterling) Kjelvik, Clarksville, grandson, Kent (Tennille) Hartsock, NC; great-grandchildren, Kayanna, Gregory, Jenifer, Chandra, Amanda, Nathan, Michael "Cody", Ashley E., Jake, Matthew, Aaron, Ashley A. and Anna; five great-great grandchildren; and niece, Laura Hamm and family, of Waverly.
