Maxine Satterwhite

Maxine Satterwhite passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at Houston County Community Hospital. She was born August 3, 1929 in Bear Springs, Tn., daughter of the late Adren Butts and Margaret Wallace Butts. She was preceded in death by her husband Bennett G. Satterwhite. A celebration of her life will be held at 3pm Friday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Claude Wilson officiating. Visitation will be from 1pm until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Survivors include one son Bennett Satterwhite, two daughters Mary Ann Stallcup, Kay Dodrill, one brother Jerry Butts, four sisters Aylene Buchanan, Martha Dean Chandley, Dot Wilson, Mary Lee Herndon, eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Dathan Rye, Steve Strang, Dustin McCartney, Jerry Smith, Johnny Satterwhite, Bill Harrell, and Dave Hardin.
