Mrs. Mavis Sexton age 86 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. David Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Barnes Cemetery in Stewart, TN.
The Sexton family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday.
Mavis entered this life on March 4, 1930 in Stewart County, TN, daughter to the late Herbert and Dixie Bush Ross.
Mavis is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, James Sexton.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
