Ewart Matthew Padgett, Jr. age 64 of Clarksville, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service.
Matt was born on November 12, 1951 in Fort McPherson, GA, the son of Ewart Matthew Padgett, Sr. and Elizabeth Coleman Padgett. He was a 1969 graduate of Clarksville High School and also a APSU graduate. Matt worked at Clarksville Foundry for over 40 years.
Survivors include his wife Michele Porter Padgett; sons, Paul (Michelle) Porter and Garth (Amanda) Padgett; daughter, Jaime Varriale; brother, John (Bonnie) Padgett; sister, Sandra Horn; grandchildren, Tyler, Dominic, Shawn, Aliyah, Trinity, and William; niece, Jennifer (Danny) Warren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Smile Train at P.O. Box 96231, Washington, D.C. 20090-6231 and/or Doctors Without Borders USA, P.O. Box 5030 Hagerstown, MD 21741-5030.
