Mary Warmath

Mary Warmath, age 86, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Dogwood Bend Assisted Living.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Clarksville, with the Rev. John David Laida officiating. The committal service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, October 19 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and 12 noon until the hour of service Friday at the church.
Mary entered into this life on May 12, 1929 in Omaha, Arkansas to the late J. Ernest Cox and Bertha Fay Cochran Cox. She was a retired school teacher and a loving and supportive wife to the late LTC (R) Chaplain William C. Warmath. Prior to his passing in 2008, Mary and William enjoyed over 60 years of fruitful and faithful marriage to one another. After ten years of missionary work together, he joined the U.S. Army and they lived a life of service to country for over twenty nine years. Additionally, in more recent times they served in pastoral roles at several churches throughout Kentucky and Middle Tennessee. Mary was also a member of the church family at First Baptist Church of Clarksville.
Survivors include her children, Mark Alan Warmath and wife April of Clarksville, Dee Ann Warmath Smith and husband Andy of Pewaukee, Wisconsin; grandchildren, William Tyler Warmath-Freemon, Karen Elizabeth Warmath-Freemon, Dustin Alan Warmath, Haley Hunter, and Dylan Smith; and sister, Eva Jane Martin and husband Robert E. of Mobile, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Tad Ketch, David Dunn, Tyler Warmath, Dustin Warmath, Jake Baker, and Phil Faulkner. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Stephens, Scott Marshall, and Dylan Warmath.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Find Us Faithful Fund, 435 Madison St., Clarksville, TN 37040.
