Mary Schilling

Mary Kathryn Schilling, 55, Asheville, NC, died Sunday, February 17, 2008, at Park Ridge Hospital in Hendersonville, NC after a brief illness. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Freddy Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born April 2, 1952 at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York. She was the daughter of the late BG (Ret) Charles H. Schilling and Martha Hunter Wall Schilling of Clarksville, TN. After a twenty-four year career in the health club industry she retired and came to live in Asheville, NC. She is survived by her sister Carolyn Hunter McKenzie of Memphis,TN and her brothers Charles Henry Schilling Jr. of Candler, NC, Stephen Thomas Schilling of Del Ray Beach, FL and Robert Herschel Schilling of Thornton, CO. Surviving in addition to her siblings are two nieces and five nephews. Flowers may be sent in care of the funeral home and memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
