Mary Riggins

Mary Lois Riggins, 100, Clarksville, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born May 9, 1910 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Henry Riggins; sons, J.D. Riggins, John Franklin Riggins; daughters, Rosa Mosier, Annie Doris Riggins; brother, Marce Hogue; sisters, Liley Riggins and Merele Beard; grandchildren, Kitty Copeland, Tammy Knight and Wayne Riggins. Mrs. Riggins was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include her sons, Douglas Riggins, Clarksville, O.B. Riggins, Athens, TN, John Riggins Jr, Marshall, TX; daughters, Elsie Putnam, Springfield, Esther Knight, Winter Garden, FL, Diane Jones, Walla Walla, WA, Shirley Copeland, Clarksville, Joyce Collins, Clarksville; sister, Polly Stone, Clarksville; twenty five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
