Mary Alice Rider, age 77 formerly of Harrisburg, PA, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Signature Healthcare of Erin after battling cancer following her late husband Richard Bruce Rider.
Mary entered this life on March 3, 1943 in Kittanning, PA, daughter of Charles “Chic” Appearl and Mary Alice Appearl/Rimel, along with her sister, Charlotte Appearl/Griffis.
Mary leaves behind her loving son, John Richard Rider and his wife Judi Rider; her niece, Linda Severson, along with her longtime friend, Peggy Neiswender of Hummelstown, PA.
Mary’s wishes were to be cremated with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
