Mary Kathleen “Katherine” Conger Powers, 95 of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Signature Health Care.
A celebration of life will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Sonny Kim officiating. Burial will follow at Powers Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of service on Sunday.
Katherine was born December 7, 1919 in Cumberland City to the late George Conger Sr. and Teriece Conger. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Julius C. Powers; brothers, Morris Conger and George Conger Jr.; sister, Tennie Walden.
Katherine was a devoted member of Forest Street United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was a retired LPN from Fort Campbell Hospital and did private duty nursing for many years.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Kenneth Eugene “Gene” Powers and his wife Nanci; grandsons, Kenneth Evan Powers and Matthew Powers; 1 great-granddaughter; brother, Jimmy Conger and sister, Nell McIntosh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Forest Street United Methodist Church.
