Mary Louise Phillips, age 84 of Clarksville, passed away on November 9, 2014 at her residence.
A celebration of her life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ronald D. Burgess officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Wednesday at the church.
Mary was born on June 1, 1930 in Lafayette, GA, the daughter of Willie Denton and Mary Ellen Ballenger. She was a lifelong member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a choir member, a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Women’s Ministry, and a Sunday school teacher for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Roy A. Phillips Jr.; son, Roy Alan (Joni) Phillips; grandchildren, Bryan (Mandy) Phillips, Steven Phillips, and Courtney (Josh) Goff; brothers, James Leonard (Jean) Denton and Clarence Raymond (Peggy) Denton; sister, Marie (Alfred) Phillips; great-grandchildren, Jacoby and Ryen Phillips.
