Mary Frances Nicks, 87, Cumberland Furnace, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare.
A celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m., Monday, July 23, 2018 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Revs Ken Andrews and Jim Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nicks was born December 25, 1930 in Montgomery County, TN and was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Louise Herrell Devers. She was a homemaker and a member of Grays Chapel Nazarene Church for 81 years.
Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Lone Nicks Jr.; daughter, Betty Jo (Tony) Christy; brother, Winston (Kathy) Devers; sister, Alene (Russell) Proctor; sister-in-law, Carolyn Devers; grandchildren, Clint (April) Christy, Jamey Christy; great-grandchildren, Jimmie Christy, Devin Christy, Jeremy Christy, Paris Christy, Cherish Christy; great-great-granddaughter, Violet Elizabeth Christy; and her children in heart, Charles and Cynthia Moseley, Eva Tubberville and Janet Fain.
Pallbearers will be Charles Moseley, Buford Hollis, Todd Devers, Jimmy Fain, Nelson Christy, Paul Blackwell Jr. and Lonnie Devers Jr.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Grays Chapel Nazarene Church.
