Mary Paisley McIntosh, age 78, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2021, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with a rosary service to follow. Visitation will also be held on Monday from 9 until 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mary entered this life on April 1, 1943 in Clarksville, TN to the late Mort and Minnie Yarbrough Paisley. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a graduate of Austin Peay State University. Mary retired from Civil Service at Ft. Campbell, and after retirement was a substitute teacher for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System for eleven years. Mary was a morning walker at Liberty Park, which she enjoyed very much. The fellow walkers became like family to her. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed participating in Clarksville Senior Games.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Jack and Joe Paisley.
Survivors include her loving husband of 38 years, Don McIntosh; children, Chris Smith, Angie Sykes, and her husband, Orville; son-by-marriage, Donald McIntosh, Jr; brother, Mort Paisley, Jr.; grandchildren, Nicholas Baldridge, Brandi Hendricks, Dustin Nall, Dillon Nall, Logan Sykes, Blake Sykes, Macon Sykes, and David McIntosh, and ten great-grandchildren.
Mary's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Condolences may be made to Mary's family at NaveFuneralHomes.com
