Mary Ruth Knowles, 76, Clarksville, TN, died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2pm Monday at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Chapel with Rev. Jeff Burris officiating. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery . Visitation will be from 6pm till 8pm Sunday Sunday at the funeral home and from 11am till the hour of service Monday at the funeral home . McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mary Ruth was born November 28, 1933 in Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Amos Glenn Elrod and Elizabeth Margaret Elrod. She was formerly employed with ACME Boot Company and was employed by First Baptist Church Chlid Care of Clarksville where she also was a member. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Knowles. She is survived by Glenn Edward Knowles(Andrea); brother Amos Faye Elrod; sisters Mildred Fletcher, Ellen Bridges, and Katherine Jackson; grandchildern Phillip Meadows, Kristy Meeks, Angela Knowles, and Christopher Knowles.
