Mary Virginia Duncan Jones, 84 formerly of Cumberland City, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2016 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Neal officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Family Cemetery in Cumberland City, TN.
Family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Friday afternoon.
Mary entered this life on May 28, 1931 in Cumberland City, TN, daughter to the late Thomas and Kate Ballard Duncan. Mary attended the Empowered Ministries Church of God of Prophecy in Dickson, TN.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her late husbands, W.L. Downs, Lewis Jones; brother, John Thomas Duncan; and sister, Alma Jean Duncan.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Wanda Downs Crisp (Hembree); sisters, Mildred Juanita, Linda Louise; grandchildren, Beth Bryant, William Conger, Stacy Brown; great-grandchildren, Jeffery Welker, John Bryant, Chelsey, Jonathan, Sierra, Kody; and a host of nieces and nephews.
