Mary Halliburton

Mary Erma Halliburton, 86, Palmyra, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Skyline Medical Center, Nashville. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Fambrough officiating. Burial will be in Halliburton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Mary was born June 10, 1925 in Montgomery County, TN, daughter of Mims Fessey and Carrie Hunt Powell. She was a homemaker and had previously been employed with Petri Cigar Factory for 21 years and John's Cleaners. She attended Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Halliburton and her son, Donald Halliburton.
Survivors include her son John Richard Halliburton of Nashville, daughters Peggy Mince (Johnny) of Cunningham, Bobbi Birchfield (Jack) of Clarksville, Mary Knight (Roy) of Palmyra, and Regina Sanford of Clarksville, sister Linda Simmons of Pennsylvania, fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kelly Halliburton, Frankie Sanford, Gage Halliburton, Jesse Riggins, Mike Barbee, and Scott Mince. Richard Clarence Hallibrton will serve as honorary pallbearer.
