Mary Goins

Mary Jo Goins, 58, Cunningham, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Herman Cress officiating. Burial will be in Marion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born September 22, 1950 in Clarksville and was the daughter of the late Eugene M. Thomason and Edna Earl Hodges Gunter. Mrs. Goins was a member of Steele Country Band and owner of JoJo and Alan's Marion Market. Survivors include her husband, Alan Goins, Cunningham; sons, Darnell Black, Cunningham, Dan Black, Clarksville; daughters, JoAnn Johansen, Cunningham, April Wright, Indian Mound; brother Larry Thomason of Cunningham; sister Patsy Jolly of Cunningham; grandchildren, Donald, Will, Michael, Chelsie, Tyler and Katherine; Aunt, Frances (Frankie) Proctor. Pallbearers will be Larry Uselton, Greg Groves, Ron Sherer, Sidney McMilliam, Donnie Gullett and Doug Ramsey. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Proctor and David Proctor.
