Mary Bryant

Mary Frances Bryant, 86, Clarksville, died Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, August 25, 2011 with Rev. Harriet Bryan-Harris and Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Mrs. Bryant was born July 7, 1925 in Stonega, VA and was preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Mary Edna Fawbush Humbert; husband, William Larry Bryant; son, Mark Anthony Bryant; and ten brothers and sisters. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Mike (Myranel) Bryant; daughters, Gwen (Bobby) McDaniel, Jane (Mose) York, Anna (Donnie) Lambert, and Jennifer Grayson; sisters Virginia Willingham and Jean Peters; grandchildren, Mike Bryant Jr., Rhonda Boyce, Brian Bryant, Tracy Sykes, Heather Bowman, Kristina Peterson; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Brian Bryant, Donnie Lambert, Bobby McDaniel, Mose York, Mike Bryant, Jr., and Dillon Sykes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Guatemala Mission or F.U.E.L. of Salem United Methodist Church, 2269 Seven Mile Ferry Road, Clarksville, TN 37040, Gateway Hospice, 141 Hatcher Lane, Clarksville, TN 37040.
