Mary Lynne Bowyer

Mary Lynne Bowyer, age 82 of Erin, TN, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025 at her residence. 

 A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Lewis Cemetery with Bro. Ray Bradley officiating. 

 Family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home. 

 Mary entered this life on September 29, 1942, in Houston County, TN, daughter to the late Garland Lyle and Bessie Thomas Lyle. Mary retired after 35 years as an employee of the Houston County Government, many of which was spent with the Houston County Mayor’s office. Mary was a devoted military wife, and her true passion was her family; she will be greatly missed. 

 In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Bowyer; and daughter, Glyna Bowyer.

 Survivors include her loving children, Sherri (Steven) Steiner-Yearwood, Robert (Jennifer) Bowyer; brother, Raybourne Lyle; grandchildren, Erinlynne Taylor Steiner, Braden Edward Bowyer, Addison Leigh Bowyer; and great-grandson, Jonathan Edward Steiner.
