Mary Bouressa

Mary Elizabeth Bouressa, age 72, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Minister Joey Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Mary entered this life on February 10, 1952 in Clarksville, TN to the late Herbert Byrd and Mary Louise Sanders Byrd. She was known for her remarkable talent in sewing. She was the owner and operator of Clarksville Sewing Center, where she dedicated over 25 years of her life. Mary's creativity knew no bounds as she intricately wove together beautiful creations through needle and thread. Mary lived a fulfilling life enriched with love for her family and cherished moments with her grandchildren. In addition to her sewing talents, she found joy in exploring the world through travel adventures and creating delicious dishes for her loved ones to savor.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Larry Byrd and Patricia Rose.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Lamar Eugene Bouressa; daughters, Elysia Wilson (Keith) and Marcy Butler (Jason); grandchildren, Justin Wilson, Dustin Butler, Austin Wilson, and Jayden Butler; great-grandchildren, Rhett Butler, Lennox Wilson, and Beau Butler.

Pallbearers will be Justin Wilson, Austin Wilson, Dustin Butler, Jayden Butler, Michael Hood, and Alex Hood.
