Mary Phidella Anderson, 92, Clarksville, passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Kyle Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Mary was born July 19, 1920 in Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter of Ernest and Helen Reidy Karch. Mary had previously worked for the office of Dr. Sam Doane and had retired from the Clarksville Credit Bureau and Collections Service. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Clarksville where she was a member of the Home Builder's Class. She enjoyed playing in her Bridge Club and had been a Cub Scouts Den Mother.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anderson. Survivors include her son, Philip Anderson and his wife Gigi Anderson of Owensboro, KY; her daughters, Patty Mason of Clarksville and Barbara Jo Bowman and her husband Bill of Hot Springs, AR; her sisters, Patricia Evans of Indianapolis, IN and Eileen Owen of Wayne, Michigan; grandchildren, Stacy Bratcher, Lauren Anderson, Robert Mason, Grace Mason, Daniel Mason, Rebecca Richards, Kelly Binns, Kerry Bowman, and Rhiannon Francis; and nine great grandchildren.
