Marvin Loyd Ellis, 63, Erin, died Friday, January 1, 2010, at Patient's Choice Medical Center of Erin. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with the Rev.'s Larry Lafferty and Garner Smith officiating. Burial will be in Tatum-Coleman Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born May 26, 1946 in Houston County, Tennessee, son of the late Carl James Ellis and Della Coleman Ellis. He was also preceded in death by brothers Jack Ellis, Bobby Ellis, Louis Ellis, and Randall Ellis, and sisters Billie Jean Sydney and Dottie Ellis. Mr. Ellis was a member of New Testament Baptist Church and an Army Veteran, in which he served three tours in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife Jo Ann Rushing Ellis of Erin; brother Carl Ellis of Clarksville; and sister Margie Sumner of Clarksville. Nephews and great nephews will serve as Pallbearers
