Martha Hutson Whitehead, age 80, of Cumberland City, TN, passed away January 5, 2022 at her home in Houston County, with family by her bedside.
Martha entered this life on February 22, 1941 in Madison, TN, daughter to the late Jace Austin Hutson and Jewel Browning Hutson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Buddy O Whitehead and her brother Harold Hutson.
Survivors include her loving sister Shirley Talbert, children, Joyce Whitehead (Nashville, TN), Beverly (Johny) Harris (Houston County), and DeWayne (Danielle) Whitehead (Ashland City, TN). She also leave behind her loving grandsons Ronnie Mangrum, Jeremy (Jamie) Hutchison, and Austin (Michelle) Harris, as well as her great-grandchildren Ronnie Mangrum, Noah Mangrum, and Ethan Hutchison. She also leaves behind her loving sister-in-law Judy Hutson.
Martha will always be remembered for treating everyone with love, respect, and a cheerful attitude that brought joy and happiness to many. And for her children, the teaching of God our father, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and the beauty awaiting us in our heavenly home.
Graveside services to be announced in the Spring.
