Martha Stringfield

Martha Bell Stringfield, age 101 of Erin, TN, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at Signature Healthcare of Erin.
A celebration of her life will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2019 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. David Steppee officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The Stringfield family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until the hour of service Monday afternoon at the funeral home.
Martha entered this life on January 5, 1918 in Erin, TN, daughter to the late James Franklin and Addie Brooks. Martha was a lifelong resident of Houston County, TN and a member of Cedar Valley United Methodist Church. Martha had passion for sewing, quilting, reading, adult coloring, bingo, and playing rook and rummy, but most of all, she loved spending time with her precious grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Stringfield; son, Bobby Stringfield; daughters, Carolyn Stringfield Carter, Patricia Stringfield, Linda Stringfield Knight; son- in- laws, Norman Knight, Jimmy Powers, and Roy Baggett.
Survivors include her loving children, James (Marylee Carter) Stringfield, Cathey Stringfield Powers, and Sherry Stringfield Baggett and son-in-law Robert Carter. Martha also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
